There was a time that I can recall going from Gotham Heights to Wayne Manor to Rhode Island all in the course of 24 hours, and on two holidays no less: Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The reason that I had to make multiple trips? I had have quite the extended family. I ate Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner with my dad, my stepmom and Mrs. Mac-before she returned home. Right after I finished a small portion-and promised Dad that I'd eat the leftovers over the weekend-I made the trek from my home to Wayne Manor and started the whole eating process over again with Bruce, Dick, Alfred, Barbara and Cassandra; Barbara showed up just as late as me, since she would spend dinner with Comm. Gordon.

After amusing myself many times by watching Dick try-and fail-at carving the turkey and eating another good portion of food, I went down to the 'Cave, dressed up as Robin and spent a few hours on the road and made my way to the Young Justice HQ to finish my celebratory day with Kon, Bart, Cassie, Cissie and Greta; as the years passed, we added and subtracted members, but the six of us would always spend the day together no matter what.

The Titans can't spend Thanksgiving together, at least not yet. You all know why, so there's no need to go into it now. Christmas isn't even a question of yes or no; regardless of what's happening, we're spending that holiday together. As for what happened at Wayne Manor...

Not only had I surprised my family with an added addition to our table, I was surprised by a returning member-I think the black sheep is still trekking the Multiverse-to the table. This year, I got to eat Thanksgiving dinner with Bruce, Dick, Alfred, Barbara, Kara and Cassandra.

I think Kara enjoyed watching Dick try and fail-again-with carving the turkey repeatedly before he said he'd try again at Christmas and didn't consider this raising the white flag. Though I could've done without falling on my ass while pulling apart the wishbone, Kara. Damn your Kryptonian powers giving you the advantage! XD

What I'm thankful for can be summed up in 12 words: That I was able to forget all my troubles for one day...

One day, man. One day. Maybe at Christmas, I'll tie Alfie down to the chair or something.

But watching you get dumped was fun. *laughs*

It was a really good day, wasn't it?

One second you'll tie him down to the chair; the next second, Cassandra will have beaten you to the turkey carving-again.

(laughs) Let's see how you do next year with Kara and the wishbone pulling.

But, yeah-it was a really good day. The Knights buried their competition, too.

Pssh. Whatever, man. Maybe 2008 will be my year, then. You gotta figure that I'm due.

It's all about leverage. *grins*

In a heck of a game, too.

2008: The Year of the Wingnuts. XD

Basically, you mean evening the playing field.

Alfred always wins! And yes, it was far too much fun! But it's only because I love you, Tim.

Thank you for inviting me over, too. It was nice to be a part of a family.

Dick hasn't raised the white flag, so he'll probably try again at Christmastime. I know; love you too, Kara.

You're welcome. You do know you're invited for Christmas, right?

That should be fun!

Uh. No. Really? Bear with me since I'm still getting used to the holiday. Hopefully, Kal won't make me fly around answering people's letters like he did before.

It always is.

Yeah-you are. Even Kryptonians deserve a couple Christmas presents. Of course. And, I thought you enjoyed helping a family get reunited despite their hard times.

Thanks, Tim. *grins* I did! I just am not entirely sure I can handle a whole lot of those type of letters the whole day, you know?

You're welcome, Kara. You should hear about the time the old YJ team literally had to visit every single house around the world to deliver presents, which didn't take us a full 24 hours to complete!

Well...we got to see the real Sanity Claus and all of his reindeer, sans Rudolph. (grins)
