The Main Man...!
For some strange reason, I've recently been plagued with thoughts about an old...acquaintance of mine. Can't really call him a friend 'cause the only person he was really interested in was Anita! Not sure why, but I have this funny feeling in the back of my head that's telling me to be careful.
Then again, I get that funny feeling every time I go out on patrol!

Tell me you're staying away from him!

We tolerated him being around us for the most part, but ultimately he died trying to save us during a time when we'd been trapped on Apokalips. His blood ended up changing into many Lobos who allowed us to escape; they eventually fought and killed each other until only one remained.
However, from that same blood we ended up meeting a Lobo who wasn't like the others at all, though his attitude was the same. He called himself Slobo and, like his predecessor, sacrificed himself to save us from Darkseid.
It's been too long since I remembered how that all went down; strange how it came back to me at a time like this, however.

And... I seriously can't picture Lobo as a kid. He's... just... no.

Imagine him shorter, and with stubble in place of his mustache.

Conner was heartbroken about it.

Does the voice in your head that tells you that sound like mine does?

If you mean Bruce, then yes.

Bingo. The one that nags you to double-check your jumplines and asks if you stocked your belt up with batarangs since the night before.
no subject
Yeah...double-check your jumplines, stock your belt up with Batarangs and make sure you look both ways before leaping off the tallest skyscraper in the city-no matter if it's Gotham, New York or San Francisco.

*nods* Although the one that tells me to eat my vegetables is Alfred.
no subject
(nods) You too, huh? Does he tell you to take a shower after you've gotten back from a hard night's work of fighting off villains, or do you get to wait until it's the crack of dawn?
no subject
Yes, but I can usually get away with it, since I'm usually the only one who has to deal with the smell of after-patrol superhero.
